Here's the one I grew up with....Rec: Tuna Noodle Casserole

Tuna Noodle Casserole

2 cups dry wide noodles
7 oz. can tuna, drained
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, or slices of Velveeta

Cook noodles per package directions. Drain and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients, except cheese, then combine with the noodles. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour mixture into a lightly greased12x8x2 baking dish (I use a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish). Add cheese on top. If desired, top with crushed potato chips or bread crumbs (I donít usually do this but mom always did.) Bake uncovered at 375ļ for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.

Patís notes: Good with steamed broccoli and sliced tomatoes.
