I've served this combination many times. The vegetarian lasanga appeals to most everyone and the sausage side dish is appreciated by the carnivours. It's all finger or fork food, which is convenient where seating is limited.

Antipasti:

Assorted salamis, cheeses and olives
Mushrooms a la Grecque
Marinated Artichoke Hearts
Roasted Red Bell Peppers in oil and garlic
Spicy Garlic Shrimp
Asparagus Tips Wrapped in Prosciutto, with mustard sauce
Tapenade and Toast

Buffet:

Wild Mushroom Lasagna with Three Cheeses
Sauteed Italian Sausage with peppers and onions
Orange Avocado Salad with orange-walnut oil vinaigrette and toasted pine nuts
French Bread
Sage Focaccia

Dessert:

Biscotti
Lemon Bars
White Chocolate-Coconut Cream Bars
Fresh Berries
