...and in my experience it's best to have a good surface for it to cling to. Stirring the sesame seeds together with the dust is probably the easiest way to do it, but I'd probably modify the recipe to give the cookies a different surface to use the dust on. I do like the idea of the seeds themselves being dusted, though... hmmm... I've gotta think on this. :)

I'd maybe make a flatter cookie instead of balls, put a firm but light glaze on, dust them individually with a paint brush (labor intensive, but it works well), and then... no, that wouldn't work... *laughing* My brain is gonna figure this out, yep. I really like the idea of the seeds themselves being sparkly.
