The espresso at the Starbuck's closest to my home is so watery and flavorless that I drive another two miles to a local espresso shop and buy coffee drinks when I am feel the need.

I don't know what they do to their espressos(the Local Starbuck's), but good lord, I can order a 16 oz (grande) and put two extra shots of espresso(for a total of 4 shots), NONFAT milk, and only put 1/3 to 1/2 pump mocha syrup (they normally put in 4!)in it and it still tastes like anemic hot chocolate milk; this is extremely sad.

All I can say is buy local, not the national chain!
