.... I am not into spice mixes, but two mixes from Penzeys are always in my spice drawer, and I don't allow us to run out: Southwest blend, and Pasta Sprinkle

the Southwest bland we use on pork, beef, chicken - it is excellent, not too hot, just a perfect balance of heat and flavor

The pasta sprinkle is my favorite all purpose spice blend - even though it's called pasta sprinkle, one of our favorite uses for it is making croutons for Caesar salad.

apart from the blends, I am very fond of their Tellicherry black peppercorns, their many types of cinnamon, and their Spanish paprika
