and has taken a sudden and drastic change for the worse. He is in a convalescent hospital up in the gold country and might have pneumonia, and for the last 3 weeks has been so ill, he was refusing to eat and drink and be examined by the doctor. He's almost 92, and my mom is just beside herself sleeping at his side in a chair. Yesterday though, he did eat and actually was able to be wheeled to the dining room. It's just so sad. I went up there last weekend and brought my sister who is mostly estranged to them so that was great they were together. We are both going back up for almost a week stay starting Saturday. If you are of a mind to it I would sure appreciate all kind and healing thoughts for my parents, for health and healing and failing that peace. I am so grateful to my friends here like Susan and Mel and for my local friends for their support as it's been hard for me to handle all of this and work and deal with my own health problems. agh. Easter is supposed to be a time of happiness, so I'm hoping we can all find some. hugs....
