Photos and recipes from the Argentina Barbeque Dinner. It was so beastly hot that I grilled and served inside.

El Asado Argentino en ‘Haus Butz-Jung’

Empanada de Pollo
(Spiced chicken, egg, and green olive pasties)

(Hard salami, sausage, prosciutto, fontina, gouda, mozzarella, olives, marinated peppers, pickles, etc.)

Parrillada Mixta—Grilled Steaks, Chops, Sausage, & Chicken
· Chimichurri (green herb-garlic steak sauce)
· Salsa Crillo (spiced tomato, green onion, & pepper sauce in vinaigrette)

Verduras a la Parrilla
(Grilled squash, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, red onions, asparagus, & mushrooms)

Ensaladas Frescas
· Ensalada de Fruta (Baby Lettuce, Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Pecans)
· Ensalada Patata (Potato, Bacon, Green Onion)
· Ensalada de Pepinos (Cucumber)
· Ensalada de Tomates y Cebollas (Tomatoes with Sweet Red Onions and Basil)

Copa Don Pedro
(Brown butter pecan ice cream, whisky, pecans, black cherries, chocolate sauce, and dulce de leche sundaes garnished with pirouettes and speculatius)

(Tender Argentine fruity butter cookie sandwiched with dulce de leche and dipped in chocolate)

Mantequilla Marrón Pacana Helado
(Brown butter pecan ice cream)
