Fruitcakes were baked last February and have been doused with Bourbon each month since.

Eggnog in the fridge, aged 1 year.

Cordials and Rumtopf from summer fruit in the pantry.

5 trees are decorated. Halls are decked with garlands. The dining room table has been extended with all the leaves for 12 guests, and we are well underway

Christmas Eve dinner this year is the full-Bavarian: Schweinsbraten, Erdapfelknödel'n, Sauerkraut, and all the trimmings.
