does not eat chocolate. Her face / smile was priceless when she saw the treats, as she thought I was only making brownies. I served the carbonara sauce over zoodles for dh.
I dug up my nana and pop-pops green / red fancy christmas china and used the red to set the table, put out candles, etc. Was fun. It was funny because our kids are not used to eating at the same time unless its sunday family dinner or when we all eat together in the family room on weekends, enjoying a movie. It was hard for dd, as she wanted to do homework, and ds wanted to turn on tv. I enjoyed it, and I rec'd huge accolades individually from them the next morning. It was a special night!
