texture a bit more. Oddly, enough, I love using almond meal in baked goods, so I'm thinking it was the lack of sweetness (in a cookie, what else is there???) that my tongue was expecting and the mini chips were definitely odd. I've bought full-size dairy-free chips before when baking for an extremely particular eater and could taste the difference in those. But that was way back when you had to track them down with a bloodhound and then turn over a kidney to pay for them.

PS: I never knew dark chocolate was dairy-free!
