Jimmy Williams Fish Baste

Combine in small saucepan over low heat and stir until well blended:

1/2 stick of butter
1tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 tsp minced ginger (fresh or pickled)
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce

Paint a good coat on thick fish such as tuna, salmon, grouper, etc. Cover with wrap and refrigerate until coating is hard. Heat the grill and put the fish on coating side down. While grilling baste the top side with more fish baste. Turn and finish cooking.
